How to Design an Effective Trade Show Display

Published: Jan 17, 2014 | Category: Tips

Trade shows are great ways to get your brand and product noticed. Every year, many companies take their products to promote at trade shows in hopes of gaining sales and drive more traffic to their business. Another huge part of trade shows is to get your brand and name out there. This way, when people see your brand, they will automatically think about your product or service.

When it comes to trade shows, communication is key. You want to communicate to your potential customers about what you have to offer and why they should choose you versus your competitors. What makes you different and what makes your better? These are some of the questions you must ask yourself in order to create an effective trade show experience for both your company and your potential customers. By adding a flag, you can effective communicate some information to your customers, especially the ones you do not have time to personally speak to.

With the large amounts of people at trade shows, chances are you will not be able to speak to every person who stops by your booth. For those you don’t get to speak to, your banner flag will speak to them for you. This is why your banner flag needs to be very effective in communicating your message. In order to create an effective flag banner, you must make sure that your message is short but to the point. When people are passing, you want them to automatically know what your entire message is at a glance. Too much text can often overwhelm people especially in an area with loads of people.

Another way you can make your flags banner very effective at trade shows is by adding small graphics such as your brand or company logo. This way, you will promote brand recognition. Even if people don’t purchase anything from you, they may remember your brand the next time they need your product or service. Also, be sure to make sure your flag stands out at the trade show by using appropriate color combinations. Colors that are too bright may oftentimes be a distraction, so you definitely want to avoid doing that.
